About Me
Caleb Lacy is an award winning New England based Actor, Director, and Singer, with a B.A. in Theater from the University of Southern Maine.
Caleb’s career has spanned over thirty years across film, television, and live theatre. He started in commercial work at the age of 5, and grew up performing on stage across the country with local and regional theatre companies, on camera with independent film makers, and creating art from the house as a Director.
Caleb has been recognized multiple times throughout his performance career including two Kennedy Center Irene Ryan Nominations, two Best Supporting Actor SPA Awards, five Broadway World Performance Nominations and first Place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing(NATS)-Maine competition.
Offstage Caleb grew up in rural Maine the youngest of four siblings. Caleb was the son of a Elementary Special Education teacher and a small business accountant both of whom passed on their strong love of the arts. Though his parents divorced at the age of six, this only further reinforced his passion for performance as it became an extracurricular to attend while they were working. After High school, with no money for college, Caleb enlisted in the military and served his country as a Ground Communication Electronics Repairmen in the United States Marine Corps(USMC). Across five years, Caleb deployed as part of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Caleb was Honorably Discharged from the USMC and returned home to Maine to attend the University of Southern Maine where he pursued his B.A. in theater. He has since performed, produced, directed, designed, written and created as much art as he could fit into his schedule.
“[Caleb Lacy] captures the feigned insouciance of the character, the casual charm that endears him to his friends, and the inner vulnerability. Lacy possesses a lovely creamy voice that acquits itself elegantly in Bobby's solos…”
